Director of Marketing (Position Filled)

As the Director of Marketing you will shape the programs and messaging that will catch the attention of similar global brands.

What you’ll be doing:

The Director of Marketing develops and implements field marketing and lead generation plans and programs to support the new customer acquisition goals of TemboSocial. This position will manage a team of 2 and is responsible for building and sustaining a results driven lead generation and revenue engine for TemboSocial. 

The objectives for this role include creating awareness of TemboSocial’s products through establishing and managing demand generation campaigns and managing in-depth analytics on results.  In addition, you will be responsible for generating qualified sales leads through direct marketing, channel co-marketing and other field marketing approaches and reporting on results. 

Responsibilites: 

Develop an ongoing program of lead generation campaigns to reach target audiences and generate demand for TemboSocial solutions that deliver a sustained flow of inbound leads into the sales pipeline coming from the target market segments.

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing programs focused on creating awareness, interest and qualified sales leads aligned with business and revenue goals 
  • Solid understanding of the sales and buying cycle to identify opportunities to maximize lead generation, pipeline and sales opportunities
  • Results Tracking - ability to evaluate, analyze, and clearly report on program performance, demonstrating return on program dollars spent
  • Channel Marketing – oversees management of the demand generation plan focusing on joint or co-marketing activities with our partners
  • Activities include electronic and direct mail, telemarketing, webinars, regional events, partner programs, digital marketing, SEO/SEM, list development, and more.
  • Delivering demand generation programs targeting installed base accounts through cross-selling/upselling campaigns
  • Track marketing activity through sales follow-up and create ROI/metrics reports through our marketing automation solution, Hubspot

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and vendors and work under tight deadlines when necessary with excellent project tracking skills.
  • Proven leader with fresh, forward-thinking techniques to reach lead generation and revenue goals.
  • Strong marketing knowledge and expertise in the following areas; execution of integrated campaigns, online and social media tactics, event-based marketing, metrics and analytics.
  • Proven success with managing and mentoring a growing team is essential
  • Excellent oral presentation, written communications, and sales interaction skills are a must.
  • Experience with commonly used marketing tools including web-based collaboration tools, CRM and marketing automation systems required.
  • Knowledge of Hubspot a definite asset.
