Adaptation is the siren song of the innovator

Written by David Bator | March 2, 2020

Adaptation is the siren song of the innovator and it tells of how when confronted, we are are able to change and make something new.

A new year - indeed a new decade - has many of us thinking about new beginnings or in some cases, starting over.

Our work life is nothing but confrontations and interruptions. Emails, phone calls, meetings, administration.

As leaders we can endeavor to make the workday experience a little bit easier by removing barriers and reducing interruptions so that it's easier for our employees to get started.

In an article about the future of work for CMSWire, Dan Hushon points to interconnectedness as critical to unlocking potential.

"Teams are the new superstars," Hushon writes.

"They champion communication and knowledge sharing across teams. They’re nimble and adaptable."

You should start to make it a little bit easier for your people to navigate the organization - because it's huge!

You should start to make it easier to access the people, skills and experience your people need to get started, unlock their potential and make something new.

Here's a story about how TemboSocial customer RBC adapted.
