Craft compelling messages. Pick the right channels. Reach your audience.

Communicators need to think about crafting compelling messages and picking the right channels so they can reach their audience in the right places.

When employees are already removed, you don’t want the systems they use to widen the divide.

I was at a conference last year where Jason Sharples of Global Payments Inc. described this approach as "intelligent and interwoven."

Sam Marshall has penned an article for CMSWire, “The Channel Internal Comms Can’t Ignore.”

“The sudden shift in working patterns brought on by the coronavirus has led to a dramatic rise in daily use of Teams, “ writes Marshall.

I spoke with a TemboSocial the other day who’d already migrated 90% of their organization from Slack to Teams as the tool for communication, chat and collaboration.

According to Marshall, part of Teams appeal is its immediacy and localized updates.

We’re seeing an uptick in the use of employee recognition as organizations are bringing greater visibility to employee achievements and Teams is an exciting new channel to share immediate, relevant updates.
